Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a high-acuity, large academic medical center environment
- Deliver care to complex and critically ill patients across respiratory and neuro diagnostics units
- Support NICU and adult patient populations as assigned
- Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and clinical specialists
Required Qualifications
- Current CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of one year of experience at a large (500+ bed) Level I Trauma, Academic Medical Center
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- 100% nicotine-free compliance required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of overall respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Experience with Epic electronic health record charting preferred
