    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services within a high-acuity, Level I Trauma academic medical center environment
    • Deliver care to complex and critically ill patients across adult and NICU populations
    • Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures as assigned by the unit
    • Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements including nicotine-free and infection control policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nebraska State Respiratory Therapy License (preferred in hand at time of submission; licensing may take up to 6–8 weeks)
    • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
    • Minimum of one year of experience at a large (500+ bed) Level I Trauma, Academic Medical Center
    • Level I Trauma experience required
    • Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of overall respiratory therapy experience preferred
    • Experience with Epic charting system preferred
