Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Team Scheduling | Weekend and holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy services across all inpatient areas and floors, caring for a patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry as part of routine clinical duties
Operate and manage a variety of ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen delivery equipment
Float to different areas throughout the facility within the respiratory therapy capacity as needed
Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, nursing staff, and lead therapists across all shifts
Rotate weekends and holidays in alignment with permanent staff scheduling
Required Qualifications
Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential required
Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience required
Proficiency with ventilator platforms including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion, as well as BiPAP devices and high-flow systems
Strong time management, communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills essential for success in this role
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
Experience working with neonatal and pediatric patient populations in addition to adult care
