Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a high-acuity environment supporting ER/Level II Trauma Services
- Perform and assist with advanced special procedures including bedside bronchoscopy and bedside percutaneous/cricothyrotomy trachs
- Manage patients on ECMO, Nitric, and Veletri therapies
- Support lung transplant patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Document all clinical activity accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; pending state license not accepted
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) — active Oklahoma licensure required
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Must be willing to float to other areas within scope of practice as needed
- Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO, Nitric oxide, and Veletri in a high-acuity setting
- Familiarity with lung transplant care protocols
- Prior experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma center environment
