    Key Responsibilities
    • Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff across all appropriate age levels
    • Records treatment information and patient responses in the computerized medical record
    • Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients
    • Ensures respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
    • Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
    • Acts as a resource person to medical staff and maintains necessary respiratory therapy records
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
    • Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
    • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 12 months of hire
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Two (2) or more years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
    • Strong clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems across patient age groups
    • Ability to interpret patient data to identify needs and work effectively under stress
    • Proficiency with computer systems used in clinical documentation
