    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff across all appropriate age levels
    • Document treatment information and patient treatment responses in the computerized medical record
    • Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients
    • Provide age-appropriate respiratory care and serve as a resource to medical staff
    • Ensure respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
    • Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
    • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
    • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 12 months of hire
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Two or more years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
    • Strong clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems across patient age groups
    • Proficiency with computer systems used in clinical documentation
