    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff across all appropriate age levels
    • Document treatment information and patient treatment responses in the computerized medical record
    • Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients
    • Ensure respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
    • Serve as a resource person to medical staff and provide age-appropriate patient care
    • Participate as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
    • Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
    • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 12 months of hire
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Two or more years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
    • Knowledge of procedures, techniques, and equipment operation and repair related to Respiratory Therapy
    • Clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems across patient age groups
