Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units including ICU, ED, and Medical/Surgical floors
- Support NICU coverage for candidates with applicable experience
- Operate within a Level II Trauma Center environment alongside a team of 7–10 Respiratory Therapists based on census
- Utilize EPIC for all clinical charting and documentation
- Float to other units as needed based on facility census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association)
- PALS certification required (must be through the American Heart Association); NRP required if candidate has NICU experience
- Valid Virginia state license or proof of compact license required at time of submittal
- EPIC charting experience required
- Specialty experience within the last year required
- One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
- Locals are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior NICU experience with active NRP certification
- Experience working in a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center or multi-ICU environment
- Familiarity with respiratory and neuro diagnostics workflows
