Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across Medical/Surgical and ICU Stepdown units within an approximately 280-bed acute care hospital
- Administer and monitor BiPAP/CPAP therapy and perform Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
- Float to inpatient units and potentially to other affiliated facilities as needed
- Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend and every other holiday)
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Respiratory Therapy License required
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy specialty
- Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred
- Experience in Medical/Surgical and ICU Stepdown respiratory therapy settings
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently, and collaborate effectively within a team
