    Respiratory Therapist – Neuro/Respiratory Diagnostics

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit on a night shift schedule
    • Deliver patient care in accordance with facility protocols and unit manager direction
    • Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating every-other-weekend basis
    • Be prepared to serve as part of an emergency response or relief team in the event of a facility emergency, as directed by the unit manager
    • Complete required facility orientation modules as scheduled
    Required Qualifications
    • Active CRT or RRT credential with a valid state license (Compact or Louisiana license required and must be in hand at time of submittal)
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA certifications required)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in specialty; new graduates will not be considered
    • Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
    • Two manager or supervisor references required prior to contract start (charge RNs are not acceptable references; PDF format required)
    • Must be willing to apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with a pending license
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic electronic health records system
    • Prior travel assignment experience preferred, though first-time travelers with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
