    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    New Brunswick, NJ

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory care across Neonatal Critical Care and Pediatric patient populations, with potential float to adult units
    • Initiate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
    • Perform blood gas analysis, medication administration, and chest physiotherapy
    • Respond to codes and assist with in-house patient transport
    • Operate equipment including Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP ventilators
    • Document all patient care activities using the EPIC charting system
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; PICU and/or NICU experience required
    • Active New Jersey state license or Compact license required at time of submission
    • BLS and NBRC credentials required at time of submission
    • Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required; may be obtained onsite prior to start date
    • Ability to float between Pediatric units and NICU, as well as adult units as needed
    • Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP ventilator platforms
    • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
