    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Location

    New Brunswick, NJ | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, and high-flow therapy initiation and management
    • Respond to codes and assist with in-house patient transport
    • Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
    • Operate required equipment including Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP
    • Float between Pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs; may also float to adult units on the main campus
    • Document and chart using EPIC
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
    • PICU and NICU experience required
    • Active New Jersey or Compact license required
    • BLS required
    • NBRC required
    • ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (may be obtained onsite)
    • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal and approved prior to offer
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with neonatal and pediatric patient populations in a critical care setting
    • Prior experience with EPIC charting system
    • First-time travelers are accepted
