Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, and high-flow therapy initiation and management
- Respond to codes and assist with in-house patient transport
- Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
- Operate required equipment including Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP
- Float between Pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs; may also float to adult units on the main campus
- Document and chart using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
- PICU and NICU experience required
- Active New Jersey or Compact license required
- BLS required
- NBRC required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (may be obtained onsite)
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal and approved prior to offer

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neonatal and pediatric patient populations in a critical care setting
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system
- First-time travelers are accepted
