    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Location

    New Brunswick, NJ | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, and high-flow therapy initiation and management
    • Respond to codes and participate in in-house patient transport
    • Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
    • Operate required equipment including Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP ventilators
    • Float between PICU, Emergency Department, and Adult Critical Care units based on skill set and hospital needs
    • Document and chart using EPIC; complete required non-billable modules pre-start and annually
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
    • Active New Jersey or Compact license required
    • BLS certification required
    • NBRC certification required
    • Experience working with both adult and pediatric patient populations
    • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal and approved prior to offer
    • Local candidates are accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PICU and/or NICU experience highly preferred
    • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred; may be obtained onsite
