Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, and high-flow therapy initiation and management
- Respond to codes and participate in in-house patient transport
- Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
- Operate required equipment including Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP ventilators
- Float between PICU, Emergency Department, and Adult Critical Care units based on skill set and hospital needs
- Document and chart using EPIC; complete required non-billable modules pre-start and annually
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Active New Jersey or Compact license required
- BLS certification required
- NBRC certification required
- Experience working with both adult and pediatric patient populations
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal and approved prior to offer
- Local candidates are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PICU and/or NICU experience highly preferred
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred; may be obtained onsite
