    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Location

    New Brunswick, NJ

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday/Saturday) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform blood gas analysis, ventilator management, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen initiation and ongoing management
    • Respond to code situations and assist with in-house patient transport
    • Administer respiratory medications and perform Chest PT
    • Provide care across adult and pediatric patient populations, including critical care settings
    • Float between PICU, ED, and adult critical care units based on census and staffing needs
    • Document patient care and clinical data using the EPIC charting system
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 1.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
    • Active NJ State License or Compact License required at time of submission
    • BLS certification required at time of submission
    • NBRC credential required at time of submission
    • Ability and willingness to float within scope of skillset across assigned units
    • Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PICU and/or NICU experience strongly preferred
    • Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP (may be obtained onsite if not held at time of submission)
    • Experience with Servo I & U ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment
