    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Travel Contract)

    Location

    Muskogee, OK | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
    • Perform and manage ventilator management and ventilator weaning for critically ill patients
    • Maintain airways including tracheostomy and endotracheal (ET) tube management, and assist with intubations
    • Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, including nebulizer treatments, and manage CPAP and BiPAP therapy
    • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including insertion of arterial lines and blood gas analysis
    • Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience with ventilator management, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
    • NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
    • Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist (RT) license required
    • ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association
    • Ability to start on or before the projected start date of October 26, 2026
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or hospital setting
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital environments
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity inpatient environment
