    Job Title

    Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatric/Neonatal Travel Contract

    Location

    Morgantown, WV

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | Onsite | 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide all aspects of respiratory care within the NICU and/or PICU settings, managing approximately 20–25 treatments per day
    • Operate and manage Hamilton and Servo ventilators, including NAVA mode, as well as Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP and Fisher & Paykel HFNC equipment
    • Perform respiratory therapies including Aerogen nebulization, Volara, cough assist, and IPV treatments
    • Assist with airway management and intrahospital transport of pediatric and neonatal patients
    • Collaborate within a staffing model of approximately 8 RTs per shift alongside in-house hospitalists and intensivists
    • Participate in department-specific orientation with duration based on prior experience
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
    • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a PICU and/or a Level 4 or higher NICU
    • Proficiency with Hamilton and Servo ventilators and associated respiratory equipment
    • Ability to assist with intubation (independent intubation not required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with NAVA ventilation mode
    • Familiarity with Respironics BiPAP and Fisher & Paykel HFNC systems
    • Prior travel therapy experience in a pediatric or neonatal critical care environment
