    Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform respiratory care evaluations and treat patients according to established protocols, independently or in consultation with a physician.
    • Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers.
    • Respond immediately to all Rapid Response, arrest, and STAT situations; maintain artificial airways and provide respiratory and cardiac support.
    • Set up and maintain all oxygen delivery systems in accordance with protocol.
    • Administer therapeutic modalities and perform diagnostic testing of the cardio-pulmonary system.
    • Provide CPR and life support as needed in emergency situations.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
    • Active RRT Certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
    • Active Michigan Respiratory Therapy License (must reflect Active status).
    • Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
    • Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
    • Current Skills Checklist (within the last year) pertinent to Respiratory Therapy, and 2 completed Supervisory Reference Forms from within the last two years.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous travel healthcare assignment experience.
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR.
