Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy services to patients in an acute-care hospital setting
- Perform assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients requiring respiratory intervention
- Operate and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment in accordance with clinical protocols
- Float across departments as needed and adhere to facility scheduling requirements
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Arizona state license to practice with no disciplinary actions on record
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- All life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience highly preferred
- Experience in a large acute-care or tertiary referral hospital environment
- Flexibility with multiple facility locations, shifts, and departments
