Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy care to patients in an acute-care hospital setting
- Perform and manage mechanical ventilation, airway management, and related respiratory interventions
- Float across departments as needed per facility guidelines
- Work weekends and holidays in accordance with department scheduling requirements
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active Arizona state license to practice with no disciplinary actions on record
- Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience highly preferred
- Experience working in a large acute-care, tertiary, or Level I Trauma Center environment
