Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy services to patients in an acute-care hospital setting on night shift
- Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring of patients requiring respiratory support
- Float across departments as needed per facility guidelines
- Adhere to all facility compliance, background check, and credentialing standards prior to and throughout the assignment
- Complete required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Arizona state license to practice with no disciplinary actions on record
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- All life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience highly preferred
- Experience working in a large acute-care or tertiary referral hospital environment
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center operations and high-acuity patient populations
