    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    Location

    Mesa, AZ

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Onsite | Weekends and holidays required as needed; float coverage per department guidelines

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct respiratory therapy services to patients in an acute-care hospital setting
    • Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring of patients requiring respiratory support
    • Operate and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment in accordance with facility protocols
    • Float to various departments and units as directed by department guidelines
    • Complete all required facility learning modules and maintain compliance with credentialing standards prior to and throughout the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience, with experience within the last 12 months
    • Active Arizona state license to practice with no disciplinary actions on record
    • Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
    • All life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Valid driver's license required to verify residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel therapy assignment experience highly preferred
    • Experience in a large acute-care or tertiary referral hospital environment, including trauma or pediatric settings
