Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Iowa or eligibility to obtain
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Familiarity with mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
