    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Contract | 36 hours per week | Day/Evening shifts (8-hour and 12-hour shifts); shift times include 7:00–15:30, 7:00–19:30, and 15:00–23:30 | Every other weekend rotation required | 2 holidays required during winter months | On-call: 1 twelve-hour call shift per 6-week schedule period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across inpatient settings, including neuro diagnostics units
    • Deliver care to both pediatric and adult patient populations
    • Perform and interpret respiratory assessments and therapeutic interventions
    • Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
    • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled within the 6-week scheduling period
    Required Qualifications
    • Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of submittal is accepted
    • Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
    • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of two years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist required
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with both pediatric and adult patient populations
    • Prior experience in an inpatient acute care or teaching hospital environment
