Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments and all RT therapies across ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med/Surg units
- Set up and manage mechanical ventilators; support ventilator liberation protocols in ICU and NICU settings
- Assist with intubation procedures and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Provide patient and staff education related to respiratory care
- Operate Hamilton G5 ventilator equipment and document care using the facility EMR system
- Function with a high degree of autonomy while contributing as a collaborative team member
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or CRT/NBRC certification
- Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Ability to manage a patient load averaging 30–40 points per shift
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented work style with the ability to work autonomously
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- PICU or NICU experience
- 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting
