Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and insertion of arterial lines
- Manage ventilators and maintain patient airways, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and perform blood gas analysis
- Conduct pulmonary function studies as well as cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
Required Qualifications
- NBRC RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
- Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Background in acute care or long-term acute care hospital settings
