Contract | Day/Night Rotation | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Shifts: 7A–7P, 7P–7A, 7A–3P, 11P–7A | Overtime may be available, with some weeks potentially requiring a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts | Every third weekend may be required | No on-call required | No holiday requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned shifts in an acute care setting
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators in accordance with patient care protocols
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Document patient care activities and clinical findings accurately in the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — CRT credentials will not be accepted
- Valid state professional license required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS and/or NRP certification strongly preferred
- Experience with Hamilton ventilators preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
