Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care services to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer therapeutic procedures including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Expected to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required
• NBRC RRT credential required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• AHA PALS certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of respiratory care settings and patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
