Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures following physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards of care
Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective action
Provide education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to patient care activities
Required Qualifications
2+ years of RRT experience required
Experience with Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG required
BLS certification required
NBRC credential required
Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required
Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification preferred
Experience with Cerner EMR
