Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Coverage Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services primarily to an adult patient population
- Perform neuro diagnostics and respiratory assessments as assigned
- Work predominantly night shifts with occasional day shift coverage as needed
- Participate in every-other-weekend coverage rotation
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and emergency response expectations as directed by unit management
Required Qualifications
- Active Louisiana State Respiratory Therapy License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Valid RRT or CRT certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy specialty
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility address (as indicated on driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult patient populations in a hospital setting
- Prior travel therapy experience (first-time travelers will be considered)
