    Job Title

    Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist (Days - 3x12's)

    Location

    Lafayette, Indiana

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 3x12's, 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across ICU, Med/Surg, Emergency, and Level 3 NICU settings
    • Manage and monitor ventilators, BiPAPs, Heated High Flow (HHFNC), Bubble CPAP, and related respiratory equipment
    • Assist with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies
    • Deliver care to high-acuity patients, including neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU environment
    • Perform accurate and timely EMR documentation using EPIC
    • Demonstrate strong time management skills during high patient volume and acuity situations
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Active certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience including Med/Surg, ER, and ICU
    • Demonstrated Level 3 NICU skills with ability to work proficiently in that environment
    • Proficiency with ventilators (PB, Drager V500), BiPAP (V60), HHFNC, Hamilton C transport, Oscillator, Jet, NITRIC, and Bubble CPAP
    • Proficient EMR charting skills; EPIC experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity ICU/CCU and emergency care environment as an RT
    • Self-motivated, independent work style with ability to adapt to varying patient loads
    • Willingness to assist with higher-acuity patients and support team members during peak demand
