Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Work night shifts (19:00–07:30) on a 3x12-hour schedule with every other weekend commitment
- Float within the respiratory therapy specialty and to all care areas as needed to support RRT coverage
- Adhere to all scheduling requirements including holidays as they fall; no on-call required
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, onboarding requirements, and certification standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong pediatric and adult experience
- Active Maryland respiratory therapy license required at time of submission
- Must be comfortable floating within scope to all care areas with no restrictions
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address 50+ miles required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neonatal and pediatric patient populations
- Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or multi-population setting
- Familiarity with CPI certification requirements (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
