Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No On-Call
Key Responsibilities
- Administer aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
- Provide Chest Physiotherapy (CPT), Incentive Spirometry, and Oxygen Therapy
- Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy for appropriate patient populations
- Perform arteriocentesis as part of respiratory care duties
- Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
- Float to units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Epic EMR experience within the past 12–18 months required; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only — failure may result in cancellation)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred
- Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related specialty setting
- Familiarity with respiratory care in an acute care hospital environment
