Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy services within a critical access hospital setting across inpatient and emergency care areas
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators and diagnostic devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Michigan
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare environment
- Experience with a broad range of respiratory care services including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings
