Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic equipment-related patient assessments for durable medical equipment (DME)
- Coordinate and oversee the setup of respiratory and DME equipment
- Provide respiratory care services in accordance with facility policies and clinical standards
- Float to other units in rotation with staff, consistent with clinical experience and applicable standards
- Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of the standard schedule
- Complete required orientation modules and annual competency modules via the designated learning portal
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland (MD) Respiratory Therapy License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory care
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous respiratory care experience in a clinical or DME setting
- Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning online training platforms
- Experience as a travel therapist or comfort working in a travel/contract capacity
