Contract | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–16:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic equipment-related patient assessments for durable medical equipment (DME)
- Coordinate and oversee the setup of respiratory equipment for patients
- Participate in holiday and weekend scheduling as needed
- Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and candidate clinical experience
- Complete required orientation modules and annual training through the designated learning portal (non-billable, approximately 4–8 hours)
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland (MD) Respiratory Therapy License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous respiratory care experience preferred
- First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply
