Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic equipment-related patient assessments for durable medical equipment (DME)
- Coordinate and oversee the setup of respiratory and DME equipment for patients
- Deliver respiratory care services in accordance with facility policies and clinical standards
- Float to other units in rotation with staff, consistent with clinical experience and applicable standards
- Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of the standard scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland (MD) Respiratory Therapy License required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory care
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous respiratory care experience in a clinical or DME setting
- First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply
