    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Administer care under the direction of ordering physicians and Cardiopulmonary supervision
    • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients
    • Perform and interpret Pulmonary Function Studies and administer related testing
    • Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff on respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
    • Participate in community education and development initiatives
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an approved and accredited Respiratory Care program
    • Minimum 5 years of newborn/NICU experience
    • Minimum 3 years of acute Respiratory Care experience
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Current NRP certification required
    • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
    • Active Colorado Respiratory Care license required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in General Floor Care, Emergent Medical and Trauma Stabilization/Treatment, and Newborn Stabilization
    • Background in Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics and Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation
    • Membership in the American Academy of Respiratory Care (AARC)
