Contract | Three 12-hour day shifts per week with rotating call and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and all levels of acuity
- Deliver care in critical care settings, including Level 2 NICU
- Operate and manage ventilators for critically ill patients
- Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory support as needed
- Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as required by license
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA) in good standing
- NBRC RRT certification required — CRT credentials not accepted
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) — all four required
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU, required
- Strong critical care and ventilator skills required
- Prior travel assignment experience required — this opportunity is not open to first-time travelers
- Flu vaccination required (mandatory, no declinations accepted); required October 1 through April 1
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Demonstrated adaptability across multiple patient populations and care settings
