Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians
- Manage complex cases requiring expert-level clinical proficiency
- Perform diagnostic testing including complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Conduct treadmill testing, hemodynamic monitoring, special procedures, and ENGs
- Maintain ABG machine and related equipment
- Teach and mentor other respiratory therapy staff
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Expert proficiency level with demonstrated ability to handle complex patient cases
- Experience performing a full range of respiratory care modalities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an adult acute care or hospital setting
- Prior experience in a teaching or mentorship role within respiratory therapy
- Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and special respiratory procedures
