Contract | Travel | Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 14-Week Assignment | Rotating Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ABG collection and interpretation using the EPOC ABG system
- Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilators (V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980)
- Provide Nitric oxide therapy management
- Assist with bronchoscopy and intubation procedures
- Administer nebulizer treatments and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) therapy, including AIRVO and Metaneb devices
- Float to all areas of the hospital as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- CRT or RRT credential required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- ICU experience required — candidates without this will not be considered
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Ability to work rotating weekends based on staffing needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CVICU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Nitric oxide therapy
- Collaborative, team-oriented work style
