Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Projected Start: September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
- Assist with intubation procedures and airway management
- Administer nebulizer treatments, IPPB, MetaNeb, and CPT therapies
- Provide respiratory care across ICU, NICU, and ED patient populations covering all age ranges
- Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation equipment
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient and family-centered care in compliance with unit policies
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
- NICU experience required
- ICU and ED experience required
- Demonstrated ability to draw and analyze ABGs
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience operating Servo I ventilator
- Experience using i-STAT point-of-care testing device
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
