Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of respiratory care for patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Operate and manage ventilators including Draeger and GE ventilator systems
- Perform and support High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
- Provide respiratory therapy services across applicable units, including potential float to PICU and NICU
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient care
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Iowa state license required
- Minimum 2 years of previous Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Draeger or GE ventilator experience required
- HFOV experience required
- Experience in PICU and/or NICU settings required (due to potential float)
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must maintain a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one prior travel contract completed
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Experience working across multiple campus locations or in a float capacity
