Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital within scope of practice
- Float to all hospital departments as needed to meet facility demands, including labor and delivery
- Deliver critical care respiratory support to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- Contribute to emergency response efforts as assigned, including during designated emergency periods
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with recent critical care experience required
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
- NBRC (RRT) certification must be in hand at time of start
- Must be a non-local candidate; candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across multiple hospital units and patient populations
