    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform direct patient care and delivery of respiratory care procedures across all areas of the facility
    • Execute all procedures in accordance with established policy and procedure, organizing workload to ensure therapy is completed as prescribed
    • Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response alerts in a timely manner and document appropriately
    • Exercise sound clinical judgment and assessment skills to monitor patients and communicate relevant information to other caregivers
    • Accurately document and maintain patient records, charts, and reports in a timely manner
    • Participate in respiratory care educational activities and departmental meetings
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Active and valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina
    • Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations including Code Blue and Rapid Response events
    • Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, and documentation skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with NICU and/or PICU patient populations
    • Training or experience in Pulmonary Function Testing, Methacholine Challenges, or Hyperbaric Medicine
    • Experience providing Asthma Education to patients
