    Contract | Rotating Shifts (8- and 12-hour shifts), Every Other Weekend and Holidays | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform respiratory therapy assessments and implement protocols for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or associated complications, including NICU, PICU, and adult populations
    • Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilation (NIV) therapy, including high-frequency ventilation (Jet and HFOV), nitric oxide therapy, and care of micro-premature infants in a Level IV NICU
    • Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, medication delivery, and airway clearance therapies
    • Assist with intubations, extubations, tracheostomy changes and decannulation, and participate in high-risk deliveries and emergency response teams
    • Conduct ICU rounds and facilitate safe intra-hospital patient transport
    • Accurately document patient care using electronic health record systems and operate a broad range of respiratory therapy equipment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapist experience, with specialization in NICU and/or PICU; adult experience also beneficial
    • Level IV NICU experience required, including high-frequency ventilation (Jet and HFOV), nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries, and care of patients at gestational ages 22 weeks and above
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be considered
    • Active North Dakota state license (NDSBRC) required or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance
    • BLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS (AHA) certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Combined NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred; NICU or PICU experience paired with adult general floor experience will also be considered
    • Familiarity with a broad range of respiratory therapy equipment including high-frequency ventilators, nitric oxide delivery systems, home ventilators, and point-of-care blood gas devices
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare team
