Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy, care, and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system
- Operate under the supervision of a physician and in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with pulmonary disease management and mechanical ventilation
