Contract (13 Weeks) | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown units within an approximately 280-bed acute care hospital
- Administer and monitor BiPAP/CPAP therapy and perform Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
- Float to various inpatient units and facilities as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely patient charting and documentation
- Participate in every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Respiratory Therapy License required
- NBRC Certification (RRT) required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- AHA ACLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC EMR charting experience highly preferred
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown respiratory therapy settings
- Ability to adapt to change, work resiliently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with care teams
