Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown units within an acute care hospital setting
- Administer and monitor BiPAP and CPAP therapies for appropriate patient populations
- Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
- Float to various inpatient units and facilities as needed
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
- Valid Indiana Respiratory Therapy license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in specialty
- Proficiency in Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown respiratory therapy care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
