Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult ICU and med/surge units
- Attend all C-sections and high-risk deliveries as part of the care team
- Operate and manage BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, and Vapotherm
- Deliver basic respiratory therapy treatments and assessments throughout the facility
- Function as one of two RTs on shift, covering a broad scope of the hospital independently
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Proficiency with BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, and Vapotherm
- Ability to function versatilely across multiple care areas including ICU, med/surge, and labor and delivery
- Comfort working in a rural hospital environment with a small RT team per shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
- Background in neonatal or high-risk delivery respiratory support
- Strong ability to work independently and manage a broad patient census
