Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple hospital departments including ED, ICU, and neonatal units
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager Vents, Airvo, V60s, and NKV-330s
• Deliver patient care in high-acuity settings requiring clinical adaptability and independent judgment
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the unit's scheduling needs
• Expected to work 1–2 of the following winter holidays if the unit is open: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or critical access setting
• Active Iowa state Respiratory Therapist license
• Active NBRC Certification required
• Active AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Active AHA or ARC ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience working across multiple hospital care areas including neonatal settings
